Robbery motive becomes suspect in slain prosecutor’s case due to high profile cases she handled
The legal world is grieving over the death of abogado Madonna Joy Ednaco-Tanyag, assistant special prosecutor of the Office of the Ombudsman, who was brutally murdered last week.
While the police have already arrested a suspect for the gruesome crime—an alleged “robbery gone wrong”–some have noted that the nature of her job is dangerous in itself, especially since she had handled a lot of high profile cases in the past.
Some of the high profile cases that Prosecutor Madonna had handled include the cases of Marc Douglas Chan Cagas IV, Elenita C. Binay. Rolando Aureo Gutierrez Andaya, Jr. and Nasser Pangandaman, Judy Jalbuena Syjuco, and Romeo Salmeo Januto.
May justice be served.
