In a letter-complaint, National Bureau of Investigation Director Dante Gierran transmitted the results of the agency’s investigation recommending the immediate filing of charges against Mr. Aquino and several others.

The case against the former leader came to fore following his alleged approval to use the 2015 Miscellaneous Personnel Benefit Fund (MPBF) for the procurement of the controversial vaccine.
