Sulit ang sightseeing: Tony La Viña admires man-made river in South Korea
Abogado and academician Tony La Viña expressed his fascination with a manmade river that runs through Songdo Central Park in Incheon, South Korea.
He described the beauty of the open space, which is full of flowers and trees.
“Human-made river runs through Songdo Central Park. Buildings, rather than trees, surrounds the park. The open space is impressive, flowers are abundant, and there’s even some deer (albeit captive). But without history, a place has no soul. I did notice enough romantic pairs of all ages and nationalities to be assured that stories are happening here and that history is being made here. But frankly, I prefer to live in messy and noisy cities,” he said.
