Macalintal to Marcos Jr: Get real! You knew about the PET outing
The camp of Vice President Leni Robredo on Wednesday claimed that the camp of former senator Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. had prior knowledge of the controversial outing involving staff of the Presidential Electoral Tribunal and one of her revisors.
In fact, Robredo’s counsel Romulo Macalintal disclosed that one of Marcos’ staff identified as Roderick Miranda left food for the group a day before the scheduled outing in Pansol, Laguna.
In a counter-manifestation, Robredo’s camp asked PET to allow the release of a CCTV footage showing Miranda delivering food for the outing.
“A closed circuit televisionfootage will confirm Mr. (Roderick) Miranda leaving the bag of snacks in the fourth (4th) floor of the building,” Macalintal said.
“Inasmuch as we empathize with protestant Marcos in losing the Vice-Presidential race, he should be more candid to the Honorable Tribunal,” he added.
