Facts only! MSU Law Dean slams existing law school culture
The Mindanao State University School of Law Dean Alizedney Ditucalan dropped a serious truth bomb after Bar 2017.
The abogado is convinced that there is a cultural flaw in most law schools.
One major problem in the Philippines. Because of the Bar Exams, law schools focus on apprentice of knowledge than apprentice of practice. What we producing are Bar-ready graduates. Not practice-ready graduates. https://t.co/dNh4xPwFvm

Ditucalan said that most law schools are just focused on making their students pass the Bar. The abogado even called this a “major problem in the Philippines.”
The abogado also noted that the future abogados should be more practice-oriented. Otherwise, they are all just manufacturing bar-ready graduates, not practice-ready lawyers.
