The abogado aspirant finds out that the DOH should continue to provide medical care to those who cannot afford it by reason of poverty. This is written in the Presidential Decree 856 enacted by former dictator Ferdinand Marcos.
The law student came across it while reviewing the Environment Laws and Policies. This is part of the “salient provisions” included in the execution of the said laws and policies.
At least something good came out of that!
