Supreme Court Acting Chief Justice Antonio Carpio will take a time off from his busy schedule to give recognition to worthy aspiring abogados.
Carpio will be the guest of honor in the Foundation for Liberty and Prosperity (FLP) and the Tan Yan Kee Foundation (TYKF) awarding ceremonies.
A total of 21 scholarships were granted to the De La Salle University College of Law. Two of the said scholarships were awarded to their senior aspiring abogados namely Nigel Carmelo Reago and Jose Angelo Tiglao. They are also the first ones to receive the scholarship from the foundation.
The FLP is a program created by retired Chief Justice Artemio Panganiban. It grants scholarship to the best and brightest aspiring abogados in the country. The merit-based program is open to all junior and senior abogado aspirants from the top law schools in the country, as proven by the Bar results.
