#NoToMocha2019: Here’s what law students think of Senator Uson news
It’s safe to say that the resistance comes from the aspiring abogados and abogadas of the country. Many reacted negatively to PDP Laban’s announcement of their senate line-up for 2019. It includes Atty. Harry Roque, Mocha Uson and Representative Geraldine Roman.

Some of the aspiring abogados wanted to reexamine the qualifications of Senate candidates. This includes the provision on being able to read and write as this does not conclusively mean that they are qualified for the position.
Mocha Uson’s prior appointment in the Presidential Communications Operations Office was already met with several criticisms. Her senate candidacy did not also come across as positive to most netizens given her less than stellar reputation.
