Career mode na ito! Law prof shares how to ace recits
Perhaps no law student has never experienced being anxious about class recitation, despite having burned the midnight oil studying for the required readings.
Law professor Mars Arias gave some practical tips on how students can ace class recitations.
1. Know the law
2. Read cases in the original
3. Speak audibly
4. Argue convincingly
5. Don’t panic
According to Arias, law professors enjoy class when students are prepared. Most importantly, grades are just grades. There’s no need to panic as long as learning remains the priority.
“Hinga lang and think on your feet,” he said.
