Last Sunday Recap: SC says number of Bar takers drops again
Bar 2017 is proving to be quite a year for both the Supreme Court and the aspiring abogados and abogadas. The SC shares another drop in the numbers of abogado candidates going in on the last Sunday of the Bar.
Repost (corrected typo) #BAR2017 Statistics: 7,227 were admitted to take the bar; after first Sunday, only 6,759 remained; as of third Sunday leading into today’s last two exams, there are now only 6,750 examinees (still higher than 2016).

SC said that not all 7,227 bar takers lasted until the fourth Sunday. Many reasons were cited such as failure to follow rules or heart-wrenching stories of breakdowns in the middle of the exams.
After the first Sunday, only 6959 aspiring abogados remained. On the last Sunday of the Bar, it dwindled down to 6750 bar takers. However, SC mentioned that this is still a notable performance and a higher number compared to last year’s surviving examinees.
Sana yung 209 na nawala, di lang dahil nag t-shirt sila.
