Nangako pero napako! Gadon believes Sereno won’t get support from judges, court employees
Lawyer Lorenzo Gadon on Tuesday belittled Chief Justice Ma. Lourdes Sereno’s attempts to muster support and sympathy from judges and court employees.
“Sereno has been doing the rounds, talking to the judges and court personnel. Unfortunately, she has lost her credibility with them,” Gadon, the complainant in Sereno’s impeachment case, said in a statement.
“In the last five years as chief justice, she has been promising judges and court employees that she will address their concerns. But to date, after five years, those promises have remained as promises,” he continued.
Instead of addressing the concerns raised by members of the judiciary, Gadon stressed Sereno preoccupied herself in indulging to luxurious living like “purchasing a top of the line SUV and travelling across the world on first or business class with her phalanx of lawyers, again using government funds.”
“Even from the SC justices, she has no support. On the contrary, many of them have made themselves available as resource persons for the committee hearings,” Gadon bared.
