The aspiring abogado advised that the “lifeblood” theory will save any answer in Taxation. This is one of the most commonly cited law jurisprudence when it comes to this field. The lifeblood theory props up taxes as the lifeline of the government, therefore, it cannot be hindered by injunctions, stipulations and the like.
For the Civil Law exam, the law advise advised to drop Article 19 of the Civil Code. This tackles the principle on the abuse of rights. Article 19 states “Every person must, in the exercise of his rights and in the performance of his duties, act with justice, give everyone his due and observe honesty and good faith.”
