How dare you! Sara Duterte calls Alvarez ‘asshole’ for accusing her of joining opposition
Davao City Mayor Sara Duterte is fuming mad after House Speaker Pantaleon Alvarez accused her of being part of the opposition against her father, President Rodrigo Duterte.
In a Facebook post Thursday (February 22), Sara said someone should inform Duterte about what Alvarez has been doing.
“Kung asshole ka sa Congress, don’t bring that to Davao, leave it in Manila. Somebody should tell the President what you are doing. How dare you call me part of the opposition. Kapal ng mukha mo,” she said.
The feisty Sara said Alvarez “messed with the wrong girl” for insinuating she is going against her father.
In a subsequent Facebook post, Sara quoted Alvarez as saying once that he could have the President impeached.
“Ano sabi mo in a crowd, ‘President iba siya, Speaker ako, I can always impeach him!’ And you call me opposition?” she said.
Sara hinted that she will post a bombshell about Alvarez Friday (February 23), as she reiterated that someone should inform the President what the Speaker has been up to.
Sara recently formed her own political party, called Hugpong ng Pagbabago (HNP, or Alliance for Change).
The party was formed without Alvarez, who is the secretary general of the ruling PDP-Laban and hails from Davao.
According to reports, HNP has the support of four of five provincial governors in Davao Region – Antonio Rafael del Rosario of Davao del Norte, Claude Bautista of Davao Occidental, Nelson Dayanghirang of Davao Oriental and Jayvee Tyron Uy of Compostela Valley.
