Caught in the act? Witness uncovers disturbing facts on Atio Castillo case
A witness on the death of aspiring abogado, Horacio “Atio” Castillo III, surfaced and gave his eye witness testimony to the police. The informant named “Tony” said he saw members of the Aegis Juris Fraternity carrying the unconscious body of what appeared to be Castillo inside a red pick-up.

Now in the custody of the Manila Police, Tony elaborated further on the incriminating incident that he saw transpired along Laong Laan street. What he presumed as Atio Castillo was wrapped in a dirty white blanket and carried out by 3 members of the Aegis Juris fraternity.
The witness certainly identified John Paul Solano as one of the members he saw. He also described the 3 members as “atubali” as they quickly drove off upon loading the body.
Horacio Castillo III was a University of Santo Tomas Civil Law freshman when he got recruited by members of the Aegis Juris Fraternity. As the fraternity of UST Law Dean Nilo Divina, Castillo complacently joined and died during the hazing rites of the fraternity.
