Ateneo to discuss law that’s ‘out of this world’
Is there a law that guides life on Mars?
The Ateneo Law School (ALS) will try to give an answer to this peculiar question through a forum about the “law of outer space.”
The ALS Commercial Law and Intellectual Property Law Department in partnership with The Palladium and the Intellectual Property Society of Ateneo will hold “Mars in 2024: Is Earth Law Prepared?” on Oct. 13, 9 a.m. at the Justitia Room of ALS.
Thomas Jefferson School of Law Professor Julie Cromer Young will present her knowledge about “the newest legal trend in our universe.”
The topic is relevant especially at this time when discussions are rife about the possibility of human beings living on Mars. It will surely be a discussion that’s out of this world!
